Ravana Falls

       Ravana Falls is a well known attractive waterfall in beautiful city Ella. It is approximately 25m in height. The waterfall is situated close to the road, for a closer look you can climb some rocks but should be careful because most of the rocks are slippery. You can spend some time swimming and enjoying the water. In wet season the cascade looks very attractive and stronger but in dry season it contains less amount of water. 

The cascade was named after legendary character called king 'Ravana' who kidnapped princess Seetha and kept in the caves near this waterfall. It is believed that Seetha bathed from the water of this very waterfall.
